Sarah Jacobs Barrs is Director of Events at Klick Health.

How did your Ultimate journey begin?

I originally found Ultimate through Class Pass, but they discontinued the service. Since I was obsessed with the classes, I knew I needed to become a member.

What’s the most rewarding part of crushing a workout at the gym?

Feeling like I have accomplished something, and challenging myself to learn/try something new.

What have you learned about balancing health and wellness with you career?

There is always time to fit in a workout, if you make it a priority. When I workout and eat well, I am more efficient, focused and a lot more fun to work with. I travel a lot for work, and no matter where I am, I make sure to at least do 30 minutes of something active. I always have a skipping rope and resistance band in my suitcase.

What keeps you coming through our doors?

Working out at Ultimate is fun - most of the time. Even though it is hard work, I look forward to going to the gym, taking classes and training with Sam. 

Favourite workout?

Right now: Boxing with Sam. All the time: Paula’s Barre.

Go-to/favourite meal post workout?

Depends on the time of day.
After morning workouts: homemade smoothie or protein bowl.
After evening workouts: my husband and I meal prep, so something we have in the fridge.

Any advice to those who haven’t been to Ultimate?

Try it. You’ll likely love it and get hooked. It’s a good addiction to have.
